…and conversations remind me just how true that is.
Recently, I caught up with a producer I worked with a fair bit last year. Sadly, he shared that he had to close his eLearning business due to AI dominating the genre - a stark reminder of how rapidly our world is changing.
In contrast, I had a fantastic meeting with the team at Bauer Media that reaffirmed the unique value of human interaction. We talked about the importance of truly knowing the people we work with, the challenges of an increasingly remote world, and the sheer joy of connecting with clients and colleagues beyond just a name on an email.
While it’s not always possible, as a professional female voiceover artist, I’m committed to nurturing relationships in more personal ways… whether it’s a face-to-face chat, a call, or a video meeting. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good email as much as anyone, but nothing compares to real human connection.
